Andy first learned how to professionally auto detail during high school. While working at an auto body shop & car dealership, he saw the auto industry transition from using a “base coat” to “clear coat” paint. After a few years, he took some time off to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from San Diego State University.
Shortly after graduation, Andy established Mobile Auto Detailing in 1994 with one main ideology: To treat his customers with the same service and professionalism he would expect from others. He went on to open three on-site auto detailing locations and a couple of mobile auto detailing units. Specializing in paint overspray, he would routinely handle accounts ranging from 1 to 200 vehicles. He taught dozens of seminars for the PRO Auto Detailing supplier, training hundreds how to professionally auto detail.
After close to ten years of auto detailing service in San Diego, Andy decided to sell the business and raise his children in a smaller community. In 2005 he moved up to Payson, AZ and started Mobile Auto Detailing again. After 20 years of being an auto detailing professional, his clients still remain his top priority. His ideal clients care about the ongoing protection and maintenance of their auto investment, regardless of what type of car they drive. They expect the best in quality, reliability, honesty, and professionalism and he loves the challenge of exceeding even the highest expectations.
Douglas was introduced to auto detailing in 1999 where he applied for a service washing position at well established dealership in Glendale, AZ. It started out as washing customer vehicles, and gradually went from washing customer vehicles to interior and exterior detailing.
He was trained by the best detailers of the dealership and learned many techniques enabling him to become the best the dealership had. He was quickly promoted to head detailer of the used car department and was recognized by the owner of the dealership as head detailer of the year.
During the past 12 years of detailing, the passion to meet clients at their convenience, offering the best in quality, and professionalism is his drive. Douglas loves the challenge of going far beyond even the highest expectations.
